Son, Can You Hear It...?I remember that clear morning. The sky was blue, the clouds were white, the withering flowers found in the white room, my father's gown was white. He gripped me by my shirt and asked me "Can you hear it?"
"Hear what?" I asked
"It. Can't you hear it?" he said half-asleep
"I don't hear anything" I said. I lied. I could hear it, the sounds of the beeping monitor, the sounds of my father's breath getting heavier, the sound of his coarse voice. I heard it all. "Dad, why don't you sleep a little bit?"
Without a word, my dad let go of my shirt and fell asleep. A whirlpool of emotions washed over me, cleansing me of my tiredness. Something was tugging at me, it was whispering to me softly, deeply; trying to get my attention.
Suddenly a voice broke my concentration.
"Hey honey how are you doing?" asked my mom
"I'm okay, how are you?" I said, standing up to give her a hug. She felt so fragile within my arms. It was hard to believe that she used to hold me, bathe me, feed me, and chase
Timothy Daepo"Why?" You ask? I don't think I'll ever fully understand it myself but I'll elaborate on it. There's just something about the glittering light in their eyes or the fact that pure glow that they exhibit makes me writhe in morbid pleasure. The concept, the action behind it, the scheme of it all it entices me. It wraps around me like a security blanket, it protects me against reality. Against my powerlessness, my inabilities, my faults. I could blame it on my dysfunctional triggers and my childhood but I feel like I'm at fault because I'm so damn powerless. Everyone around is normal, they don't have this problem. I rather not tell anyone but you so don't spill my secret shhh.
This sickness of mine is something I unintentionally made, it gave me an escape from the crushing world. It crushes so damn hard. This was my way of getting back I felt powerful, I felt I was my own ruler. It was a sort of sickening rush to the head that made me shiver with ecstasy. I'll keep my mouth
A Solemn Dance in the DarkA solemn dance in the dark
Legs here, arms there, something so stark
We're moving up from our starting mark
Up the mechanical ladder
Letting their voice shatter
Filled to the brim
Our lives run like an old film
Our truth and lies are showing
Like a candlelight in the middle of the ocean
Our lives are told in motion
Our voices taken a backseat
No matter how overwhelming or underwhelming
Don't let it go
This machine is breaking down, down, down
The heart is melting, my mind isn't sound, sound, sound
We're running headfirst into the wall
Falling down the proverbial stairs
Our progressed impeded, stalled
We chant our mantra, unfair
But no one really cares
Don't make it a habit, don't bear
Justice and injustice are quite the pair
Make it a moral policy
Maximize your proficiency
The machine is breaking down, down, down
The heart is melting, my mind isn't sound, sound, sound
Like a star falling, we streak across the sky
Our dreams keep us lit, don't let us die
Falling down t
So funnyToday is just another day,
Their eyes lie to you with sincerity
It's all about integrity
Today is just another day
It's just about the laughter
So funny and so absurd
Play the martyr-d
Just like a caged bird, you're free
Don't question it
Let the wonder stay unlit
Yell and lecture
The lies are destroying this infrastructure
I'm afraid to say
That this just another day
Nah, words won't reach
My feelings will never teach
The feeling of being alone
Starting to see what we were shown
The beginning of the end
It's been a long trend
So sad to the point of being mad
We kind of feel glad
It's kind of trivial I guess
We're just all trying our best
Sometimes its not enough
Life hits you in the face
It's a horrible disgrace
Let's say everything is at fault
Mine and yours
Let our feelings pour
Nah, let sleeping dogs lie
Could be that we're too shy
Could be that words were never found
Our minds will never be sound
Well at the very least my mind is bound
A bond weak as hell is hot
Giving up without

Male B is tentatively waiting at a pizzaeria. There are a scarce amount of people scattered about her and there. The time is 4:00 PM

Male A: It's...not that big a deal really. What pizza do you want?

Male A: It'll still be warm wh
